5 Under £5: Eye Shadow Palettes!

New Palettes are being released all the time and they are also becoming increasingly expensive, but a few amazing brands are now bringing out more affordable palettes making them perfect for any budget.

In this list I have put together my favorite palettes that are amazing quality all for under £5!

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette

£3.99

When this palette came out a few years ago, everybody was talking about it, and I had to get it. I also have this palette in 3 different shades, but the Nude Bronze is my favorite. The colors in this palette are perfect for a natural everyday look which is ideal for either work or school. What I love most about this palette is the blendability of the different shades; they blend seamlessly without the need for too much work.

But one has to be careful while mixing because sometimes I can fall off and that`s devastating.

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette

I use this palette a lot when I’m in a rush because it works well really quickly, you also don`t need loads of tools to help you get to your desired look. For only £3.99 you get five shades with them all being shimmer, but some are more glittery than others making it perfect for everyday use.

And no matter what tool or method you are using, you could easily adhere the glitter to your eyelid.

Revolution Redemption Palettes Iconic 3

£4

This palette is probably my most used palette, as you can see I’ve hit pan which almost never happens. The first thing that I love the most about this palette is that it is a significant dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and more than half the price.

The price of this palette also makes it a favorite of mine, for only £4 you get 12 beautiful shades. This palette has a pink color selection with mattes and shimmer shades. The formula of this palette is also a significant part in it being on my list; it has intense pigmentation and blends into the skin quickly without the need for too much blending.

The shimmer shades are my favorite part of the palette, they apply nicely with a brush but for extra pigmentation applying it with your finger makes the color pop. For the number of shades you get you can create multiple looks ranging from the everyday to evening looks.

MUA Rusted Wonders 6 Shades Palettes

£3.50

It is a full shimmer palette that I use a lot for different eye looks. The shades range from gold to red and have some beautiful rusty tones as well.

Also for me, it a must-have while traveling especially on long holidays; because of all the different looks, you can create with it.

The main reason this palette is on my list is that of its formula; the shades almost feel like a creamy consistency when applying to the eyelid because they are so creamy with very little fallout.

For the best color pay off, I find it best to apply the product with my finger as it helps the pigmentation show up more and gives the most natural finish. Also, your pinky finger is great for highlighting.

My favorite shades from this palette are the light gold shades as they can also be used as a highlighter for the cheekbones.

Berry Eye Shadow Palette

£4

When I first discovered that Primark brought out their own makeup range I was instantly intrigued, then I found this palette and was hooked straight away. This palette contains a mix of pink and red shades making it a perfect berry colored palette. With a mixture of shimmers and mattes and also one duo chrome color, it is an ideal palette for moving into autumn.

For the small price, it has a fantastic quality that you would expect from a High-End palette. Much like the MUA palette the shimmer shades also feel like they could be a cream shadow because of how smooth they apply with very little fallout.

The duo chrome shade is my favorite as it uses as a light cream shade but in certain lights, it looks pink. This palette has been in my daily makeup bag since I got it.

Rimmel London Glam’Eyes 612 Orion

£3.99

Now this is a real oldie but goodie, This little trio palette was actually one of my first palettes that I started my collection with and still use it now as its one of my favourites. This palette has 3 matte shades that you can use together for one eye look or can be used with other palettes to create a more dramatic look. My favourite shade in the palette is the medium brown, I use this a lot as a crease shade for all different looks as it’s a really nice medium brown shade which works really well with golden shimmer shades. This palette would be perfect for someone who is either new to makeup or is a busy person as its so easy to create your desired eye look.

Finding the right palette can be hard.

Some shades didn`t marry well with others, some go too pigmented to blend, and some blends well, but become very sheer and patchy afterward

So be thankful if you are succeeded in finding the right palette.

Just like me!
