Becoming a new mother can be frightening at first. It is hard to know what to expect. Each stage of your child`s growth is a new adventure. If you are entirely unprepared for what lies ahead, things can get a little chaotic.

Before I gave birth to my daughter, I began looking things up online constantly. I wanted answers, but there was so much information to sift through. It was stressful because I didn`t know what information to believe. Luckily, one day in the mail I received a box from a relative. She had sent me a box of books for expecting and new mothers. You are going to be great!

It is up to you how you decide to decipher information that you receive from parenting books. Be sure to do things your own way when you wish to do so and only refer to books as guidelines or if you have questions. If you have any questions in mind that cannot be answered by baby books, then it is always wise to seek information from your child`s Pediatrician. Not every situation can be solved by reading a baby book, but they are an excellent resource for sure! Down below I have linked a helpful video for new mothers from Texas Health Resources.

For the new mothers reading this post, I hope that you find this article useful and that your baby or children are as healthy and happy as they can be! Enjoy your parenthood adventure and always remember that you aren`t alone when it comes to parenting and that there are great resources and advice at your disposal.
